The Tots-N-Tikes celebrated Fire Safety week
with a visit from Youngwood Fire Department.

The center will be closed Thanksgiving Day and the Day After --November 24th and 25th.
We will be opened Monday, November 28th

Pre-K Counts will have the following days off:
November 11th, 24th, 25th, and 28th
The center will remain open on the 11th and 28th
for those needing child care

The Christmas Party will be held on
Friday December 2nd at Youngwood Fire Department 6:00 p.m.

Parent's Night Out for Christmas Shopping will be
December 9th From 5:30 to 9:30
Cost is $10 per family -- Dinner will be provided

HEMPFIELD CLASSES BEGIN MONDAY, AUGUST 29.
The bus schedule will be the same as last year.
Bus #19 picking up and Bus #19 dropping off in the afternoon.

DAY CARE FILES
It is VERY IMPORTANT that our files are all complete and signed properly for each child. When you are ask to complete and/or sign a form it is only because it is mandatory. We appreciate your co-operation in this matter.

SIMPLY PRE-SCHOOL CLASSES
Began on Monday, September 6th. Pre-school orientation will be on Tuesday, August 28 in the classroom at 6:30pm. Our teacher Diane and our Director Karen will be on hand to answer any questions and concerns.

WEEKLY SCHEDULES
Please fill out your child’s weekly schedule by Friday for the following week. If your children are in different classes you must fill out 2 forms. These forms are to be RETURNED TO THE STAFF IN YOUR CHILD’S CLASS ROOM. The forms are available under the clock next to the sign-in sheets. You may take some forms home and fill them out if necessary.

I.D. MARKINGS Please put you child’s name on their coats and backpacks.

ATTENTION PARENTS
Please escort your child into their room.  This is very important to your child and also to the staff in the room.  Once you leave your child—then they are our responsibility.

Please bring a change of clothing for your child
to be kept in their room for emergency purposes.

LABELS FOR EDUCATION

FYI…..Many of our families may be eligible for CCIS, which is the Westmoreland County subsidized child, care program for families. For example: a family of 4 earning $40,000.00 or less annually would be eligible. For more information please call 724-836-4580
